Is There A Wrong Way To Do Art?

A theme often repeated in art is that there is no wrong way to do art. It is a creative expression of how the artist sees the world and can be done in multiple ways.

This is why when Gemma Leighton shared the story of how her six-year-old daughter, Edie, was told her art piece was wrong at her afterschool art club, many Twitter users -including those in the art world- chimed in to encourage her.

The users were also particularly concerned about how careless statements could damage a young child’s creativity.
