These Famous Artworks are Actually Really Small

No matter what anyone tells you, SIZE MATTERS. Yet, some people have the tenacity and thirst to never moan about the small sizes life presents them with, and with great skill they can make every inch count.

Yep, we’re talking about art. Uhm uhm.

There is a certain expectation, likely foistered by photographic perspectives and scale, that most famous artworks are magnificently large frames that draw you in from across the room.

Nope, not that one. The Mona Lisa is only 77 cm x 53 cm.

Turns out if you’re visiting a museum to see any of these artworks, you may as well bring a microscope. It gets crowdy around them as well, so you may need a high powered telescope with larger lens than the paintings themselves.
